About Chicken Road Australia
Chicken Road Australia is a one-game site. We explain InOut Games' Chicken Road, the crash game with the hen and the traffic, to Australian readers who want straight answers before they try it. We kept the scope narrow on purpose: one game, covered properly, beats a hundred games covered in two lines each.
Everything here is written and checked by Jacinta Morrow, who also handles corrections when the game or the figures change.
How the game is tested
Testing starts with the official demo. Jacinta plays several hundred rounds across all four levels with a fixed stake and a written exit rule, logging how long each run lasted and what it paid. Then she reads the in-game rules screen line by line. Only after that are the notes compared with the figures published by InOut and by independent databases.
Where the numbers come from
Figures such as RTP, the number of steps per level and the release year only appear on the page when at least two independent sources agree, for example the developer and SlotCatalog. Where sources disagree, as they do on the top prize, we say so and point you to the casino's own rules instead of picking the most exciting number.
How we score
The score out of 10 weighs four things: how clearly the game explains itself, how fair its published maths is, how it plays on a phone and a laptop, and how easy it is to keep control of your spending. A high score is never a nudge to gamble. It means the game is well made and upfront within its category.
Why only one game?
Chicken Road became popular fast, and much of what is written about it is either copied from the casino lobby or mixed up with the arcade apps of the same name. Covering a single title lets us test it properly, explain each difficulty level in detail and correct the page quickly when something changes, instead of skimming dozens of games.
Independence
We are not a casino and we have no connection with InOut Games or with the arcade apps that share the name. No operator reads our pages before they go live, and no partner can buy a better score.
Where our money comes from
Some buttons are affiliate links. If you join a partner site through one of them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Those links always pass through a short, clearly labelled redirect page so you know when you are leaving us.
What we will not do
We will not promise wins, sell strategies or claim the game can be beaten. We will not embed copies of the demo from unofficial sources. Every page here assumes the reader is 18 or older.
Who this site is for
Adults in Australia who have heard of Chicken Road, seen it in a casino lobby or mixed it up with the phone game, and want to understand it before they play. If you are looking for tips to win, you will not find them here, because there are none that work.
Keeping it current
When InOut updates the game or a figure changes, we revise the page and the date at the top, and note any change to the score in the review itself.

Casino games writer
Jacinta Morrow grew up on the Sunshine Coast and has written about casino games from Brisbane since 2019. Before that she worked in customer service for an online wagering company, which taught her how quickly people can lose track of time and money on fast games. These days she focuses on crash and instant games, tests every title in demo first and writes in plain English about rules, risk and the tools that help players keep control.
